Spanning in an area 3800 sq. ft., the villa elegantly portrays the aesthetic value of teak and rosewood. As per the taste and preference of the client, the designs were mostly Elephant based. Whereas, the living room has a Mauritius inspired ceiling and detailing. The furniture being made out of teak and rosewood, made the intricate detailing easy as these woods are known for their quality of crafting. The peacock detailing on the swing in the living room area definitely adds to the ethnicity. The dining room sports a traditional eight-seat dining table made out of teak wood and another swing to add more seating. The bedrooms as well boasts a four post, beautifully carved out rosewood cots, making it seem more cozy and royal. The full length wooden carved mirrors are another feature in the bedroom. Another highlight is the pooja area which is again specially made out of teak wood and is based on the traditional design. The living area on the first floor also has wooden detailing, right from the floors to ceiling. The patio also has a 4 seat mini bar, which is also completed in rosewood. All in all, right from the foyer to the kitchen, the interior design of the house is beautifully carved out in wood, thus striking an elegant balance between contemporary and traditional designs.
